I hate reading The Lord of the Rings. I felt that it was slow and fluffy. I think the worldbuilding is both dense and full of holes. I don't know why I read this biography, but I'm glad I did.
It was nice to gain insight about the man who for better or worse has come to define the fantasy genre.
